Atom2RSS (Atom-to-RSS)

As you know, many sites offer Atom feeds instead of RSS. Most noticeable Blogger.com. And because our site focuses on RSS technology (directory, readers, articles) you can add here only RSS resources.

Converting Atom XML feed to RSS feed is a new service our site offers, for free. You even don't have to register. All you have to do is to use a link to atom2rss.php page and pass your Atom URL in atom parameter. Here is an example:

If you use this service, you can add your feed in our directory, as RSS feed (converted from Atom). And you can create a link to us. Thanks.

Using this service for Blogger weblogs you may have to activate Atom feed for your blog (Settings -> Site Feed -> Publish Site Feed = Yes). For details see Blogger help.

Note: If you see the feed in browser you may get an error: "The XML page cannot be displayed ". Don't worry about it because your RSS reader can handle it (including our RSSlib scripts).

Update May 2004

We changed Atom2RSS feeds conversion. Now it comes in two versions:

• free, but with advertising in RSS feeds;
• paid - for only $14.95/year you can convert your Atom feed into RSS, ads free.

Free version is working as before, just that we add a new entry with a link to one of our sites. There won't be for sure Viagra or adult sites. It's just a simple text link to new sites we develop.

Paid version doesn't have any advertising. All payments are made thru PayPal.
Here's how you can use ads free Atom2RSS:

1. Register a free account then login using your account name;
2. Fill "My Atom" field in your profile;
3. Make a payment of $14.95/year using the link from your profile.

You'll be notified by email when new Atom2RSS conversion is available for your feed. New link you can use on your site to convert Atom to RSS will be:

http://www.2RSS.com/atom2rss.php?atom=<atom_url>
or
http://www.2RSS.com/atom2rss.php?id=<your_id>

If you have multiple Atom feeds you should register a free account for each of them.
